Designing a personalised water bottle
Think of the front panel as a label. A painted figure, a character's face or a bold emblem you drew yourself all read at a glance. Keep essential detail away from the margins of the panel, and leave text out unless it is large; small writing gets lost on a bottle held at arm's length.

There is one bottle in the range: 500 ml, stainless steel, finished in white. The white body frames the print, so artwork on a plain or pale background blends in well. A dark background shows as a clear block on the front, which also works if you want it to look like a label.
Photographing a figure for the panel
A painted miniature works well on a bottle when it fills the picture from base to head with little background. Shoot it against plain card so the edges of the panel stay quiet, and light it from one side so the paintwork has depth. Crop tall, not wide: a bottle panel is upright, and a wide group shot leaves each figure too small to read.
For clubs, events and gifts
A bottle with a character on it makes an easy gift for someone who paints, plays or runs a club. The same image can go on a mug for the desk at home. Ask the artist before you print their work, and use the file they are happy to share.

The same design printed several times suits a painting club, a gaming group or an event team. If the design carries a name or a date, make the lettering large and keep it near the centre of the panel.
