How to choose a product
Every product here prints the same image, so the choice comes down to where it will live and how it should feel. Start with the place, then the surface, then the size. Open a product page to see every size and its price before you upload anything. Standard UK delivery is included in each price, and optional Priority delivery costs extra. The guide to choosing your format goes through the same decision at more length.

For the wall
Art prints are unframed posters on 250 gsm uncoated off-white archival paper, in A4, A3, A2, 50 x 70 and 70 x 100 cm. They suit brushwork, pencil and ink, and they are the easiest way to try a picture at a size before committing to a heavier product. The three A sizes share one proportion, which the Cambridge University Computer Laboratory's ISO paper sizes reference puts as "The height divided by the width of all formats is the square root of two (1.4142)". In practice, a crop that works at A4 also works at A2. Our A-series sizes page lists each one.
Framed prints use that same paper behind clear plexiglass in a wooden frame, in black or natural wood. They come in A3 and A2 only. Choose one when the piece is a gift or you want it ready to hang.
Canvas is stretched over a 2 cm wooden stretcher and comes in 30 x 40, 40 x 50, 50 x 70 and 60 x 80 cm. The woven surface adds texture to painted work. Framed canvas puts the same canvas in a frame of black, dark wood or natural wood, in the first three of those sizes. The size you pick is the canvas face, so the finished piece measures more once the frame is added. Printing and framing a photograph helps you weigh the frame finishes.
Metal prints are printed on a rigid 3 mm panel with nothing in front of the picture, in 30 x 40, 40 x 50 and 50 x 70 cm. Bold outlines and strong contrast suit them best. Wood prints use a 10 mm plywood panel in 30 x 40 and 40 x 50 cm. Pale areas of the picture let the wood show through, which gives a warmer result than paper. Once you know the format, the guides on hanging a picture and gallery wall ideas help with the wall itself.

For the desk and the kitchen
The mug is an 11 oz white ceramic mug, and the water bottle is 500 ml, white stainless steel. On both, the printable area is smaller than the object, so a single figure or a clear centre reads better than a wide scene. Each range has one size. If you are giving one as a present, printing artwork on a mug covers what to check, and personalised gifts for him and Secret Santa ideas cover the occasions. For a mug made from a child's drawing, see personalised gifts for mums.
When a file is enough
A digital download gives you the finished image as a file, sent as a link by email after payment. The link stays live for 30 days. Nothing is posted, so it suits anyone who wants a paper, size or frame we do not sell, or has a printer or framer they trust. If the present is for Valentine's Day, personalised Valentine's gifts covers choosing the picture and leaving enough time.

Two ways to order
Print your artwork as it is keeps your uploaded image unchanged by AI. Use it for a drawing, a painting, an illustration or a photograph. Create a miniature scene is for a painted figure: you upload a photo, choose a setting, and compare each watermarked preview with your original before you pick one. AI can change small details such as faces, equipment and colours, so approve only a result you want printed. The print is made from the exact artwork you select, without the watermark.
Both routes end at the same products. The upload checks your file against each size and does not offer a size it is too small to print sharply, so a larger original opens up larger products. Preparing your artwork and photographing artwork explain how to get the best file.
Questions we are asked
How do I print my own artwork?
Choose a product, upload your image, pick a size and check the crop shown in the preview. Everything is made to order, and you approve the artwork and crop before you pay. How to make prints of your art covers the steps in more detail.
Where can I print my artwork on products in the UK?
Here. We print your image on posters, framed prints, canvas, framed canvas, metal prints, wood prints, mugs and water bottles, and deliver to UK addresses.
Can I turn a photo into a painting?
You can create a scene from a photo of a painted figure with Create a miniature scene. For the wider question, see turning a photo into a painting.
Whose images can I upload?
Your own artwork, or work you have permission to reproduce. Every upload needs your confirmation of that.
